"Coupe Jacqueline Kermina" IC France invites our Team

​On 27 and 28 September 2012, the IC of France welcomed us to Lyon for a friendly match in honour of Jacqueline Kermina, a Cup according to the formula "2 players aged 45+ and 2 players aged 55+". Natalie Tschan, Cathy Feldbausch, Susana Villaverde and Yvette Fischli represented our Club.

​The meeting took place in the beautiful setting of TC Lyon, where Henri Cochet took his first steps in tennis. It took place under the sun in a warm and friendly atmosphere, accompanied by the President of the ILTC of France, Thierry Pham and the President of the IC of Switzerland, Jurgen Buttkus. The Swiss team won the game by 9 wins to 1.

Thanks to the Tennis Club of Lyon and its President Francis Bezot who so kindly welcomed us, to Jérôme Vanier, member of the ILTC of France and Director of the Club, who set up a very nice program for us with a visit of the Vieux Lyon and a pleasant dinner in a "Bouchon lyonnais". The participants are already looking forward to the return match in Geneva.
