Tennis Club

The "IC" ou "International Club is the name given to the Clubs around the world. The quality of member is limited to prominent players who represented their country, who won national and/or international championships, who reached a high tennis level and who represented their  country abroad, for example for a Club or a University. 

   Aims & Objectives 

  1. To promote the game of tennis and to maintain and develop close links of sporting camaraderie between players who have represented their country in international matches.
  2. To organise friendly competitions and various meetings for this purpose.
  3.  To ensure that I.C. players are well received in Switzerland.
  4. To provide its members with all information about foreign Clubs and to facilitate their participation in tennis.
  5. Finally, to do everything possible to preserve the traditions of perfect sportsmanship, which guarantee the ideal and the spirit of IC
Each Club has its own "IC" with similar rules, established by the Council of International Clubs, which meets once a year in Wimbledon. The first IC was created in Great Britain in 1924. For more information on IC's, their history, and the IC Council, visit ​www.ictennis.net
