The “IC” ou “International Club is the name given to the Clubs around the world. The quality of member is limited to prominent players who represented their country, who won national and/or international championships, who reached a high tennis level and who represented their country abroad, for example for a Club or a University.
Each Club has its own “IC” with similar rules, established by the Council of International Clubs, which meets once a year in Wimbledon. The first IC was created in Great Britain in 1924. For more information on IC’s, their history, and the IC Council, visit www.ictennis.net
